With 20 staff members spread out over the massive 171 million acres in Texas, from El Paso to Houston and the Panhandle to the Valley, the mission has never been clearer, get our Veterans outdoors to take advantage of the multiple terrains that our beautiful state offers, including, the Great Plains, Interior Lowlands, Hill Country, Gulf Coast, as well as the Basin and Range Province.

-50 species of game birds. Known across the country for its Sandhill Crane, the state also hosts 43 species of ducks.

-Dozens of game animals. Popular for its hog and prey opportunities as well as large exotic ranches, Texas is also becoming a go to for the Nilgai antelope that are growing in numbers and thriving in the southern regions.

-Countless species of fish. With 7000 lakes and 367 miles of Gulf Coast shoreline, the fishing opportunities are close to endless.
